The Kingston New Music Collective (KNMC) announces its debut concert, Night Garden, taking place on June 20 at 7:00pm MacCallum Hall in Chalmers United Church.
The program features Clare Marion (piano) and Kathryn Knowles (cello) performing contemporary works inspired by nighttime settings and natural environments, transporting listeners to the tranquility and lush beauty of a summer garden after dark.
Founded by composers Kathryn Knowles and Michael Maevskiy, the Kingston New Music Collective is dedicated to supporting contemporary music in Kingston through performances and outreach. The organization aims to engage new audiences while promoting the work of living composers.
The KNMC gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the Canadian Music Centre (Ontario Region) and the Canadian League of Composers through its 75th anniversary concert sponsorship program. Tickets are available on Eventbrite: Click here for more details.
