PIVOT Mentorship Program
Our annual professional development program is geared towards composers in the process of pivoting from their musical training to the early stages of establishing their professional career. Selected participants will be paired with a mentor, have their works presented and documented in a professional context, and perhaps most importantly, they will be compensated for their work.

Friends of Canadian Music Award
Jointly administered by the CLC and the Canadian Music Centre, the Friends of Canadian Music Award is presented annually to an individual and/or organization that has demonstrated an exceptional commitment, on a national scale, to Canadian composers and their music. Nominations are accepted in the late-summer/early-fall.

Indigenous Artists Commissioning Project
The Canadian League of Composers and Canadian Section of the International Society of Contemporary Music are launching its pilot commissioning project of an Indigenous artist working with music and/or sound. The presentation of the pilot version of this project will take place in the 2022-23 season, and will further develop into the biennial commissioning of an Indigenous artist in future iterations.
