




The 2026 Juno Nominees were announced on Tuesday, January 27, and it was a banner day for the Canadian League of Composers!
All five nominees in the Classical Composition of the Year category were CLC members: Amy Brandon (Cloud Path), Andrew Staniland (The Laws of Nature), Kevin Lau (Kimiko’s Pearl), Linda Catlin Smith (The Plains), and Nicole Lizée (Music for Body-Without Organs).
In addition, five more CLC members had their compositions included on Classical Album of the Year nominees: Brian Current (Missing), Bekah Simms (re/string and in an archipelago), James O’Callagan (in an archipelago), Dorothy Chang (in an archipelago), and Alice Ping-Yee Ho (Awake and Dreaming).
