Le festival aura lieu du 24 novembre au 3 d\u00e9cembre 2023. <\/p>\n\n<p>Voici la liste des \u0153uvres s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es:<br\/><br\/><em>Simulacra <\/em>(2020) pour orchestre, par <a cat\u00e9gories d\u00e9finies par l\u2019organisation du festival de cette ann\u00e9e. Les pi\u00e8ces ont \u00e9t\u00e9 choisies par un jury compos\u00e9 de Ryan Scott, Anthony Tan et Laurence Jobidon. Le jury \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par Bekah Simms, vice-pr\u00e9sidente de la section canadienne de la SIMC, et anim\u00e9 par Rodney Sharman, pr\u00e9sident de la section canadienne et August Murphy-King, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Ligue canadienne des compositeurs.   <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>\u00ab La Section canadienne de la SIMC est extr\u00eamement fi\u00e8re de vous faire part de sa s\u00e9lection pour les Journ\u00e9es mondiales de la musique contemporaine 2023. Le jury a eu l\u2019embarras du choix et tient \u00e0 souligner la grande qualit\u00e9 des \u0153uvres pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es. Celles-ci refl\u00e8tent la diversit\u00e9 des approches musicales tant au Canada que chez les Canadiennes et Canadiens vivant \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger, et au moins l\u2019une d\u2019entre elles sera entendue sur la sc\u00e8ne mondiale en Afrique du Sud.
